F.C's Albino Cugat made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anselmo Gama read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 25th minute of play forced MACAU. F.C's goalkeeper Anselmo Gama to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Gama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Remigio Fix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anselmo Gama showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 30th minute of the match. Şükrü Yazargil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alberto Sobral in the 32 minute of the game. After 33 played minutes MACAU. F.C got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Sobral. 33 minutes into the match, MACAU. F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Anselmo Gama reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anselmo Gama made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milagros Fraga in the 35th minute of play. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 37th minute. It was a well-played corner which Eliseo Mina managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 41st minute Şükrü Yazargil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anselmo Gama took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angelo Assunção to strike the kick off in the second half. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şükrü Yazargil, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. MACAU. F.C's Daniel Correia was substituted for Aloísio Esteves. 61 minutes into the game, Daniel Correia threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. MACAU. F.C made a substitution. Cristiano Pelé replaced Angelo Assunção. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albino Cugat in the 82nd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Murillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Gama breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. MACAU. F.C were victorious despite being under pressure from Peru for much of the match.
