Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Luciano Pirro got the match started through his kick off. Diego Bradley hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Luciano Pirro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. It was a well-played corner which Luciano Pirro managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Pirro in the 11th minute of play. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Pirro in the 11th minute of play. Edward Mcdonald took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cornelio Cordearo. Cornelio Cordearo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Luciano Pirro came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Racing Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Pirro couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Club's zone, Cassius Byrne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornelio Cordearo came out of the goal and Cassius Byrne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cornelio Cordearo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Racing Club's goalkeeper Cornelio Cordearo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led USA's Cassius Byrne to fire away a dangerous shot which Cornelio Cordearo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cornelio Cordearo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 47th minute of the game, Edward Mcdonald landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 47 minutes, Ramiro Lano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Racing Club and the USA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Ramiro Lano got a free kick in the 47th minute. Racing Club's Homer Field was substituted for Efmamjjasond Bronco. Ramiro Lano hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cassius Byrne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Racing Club's Luciano Pirro got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Cornelio Cordearo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Racing Club made a substitution. Epifanio Txomin replaced Luciano Pirro. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sam Campbell got free with Cornelio Cordearo in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. 87 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Khalid Parry came free, but Cornelio Cordearo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Txomin in the 90th minute of play. Racing Club's Cornelio Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Baker in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Khalid Parry came free, but Cornelio Cordearo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Racing Club defense, Sam Campbell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cornelio Cordearo. The Racing Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cornelio Cordearo should have stopped the shot. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epifanio Txomin in the 98th minute of the match. The Racing Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. USA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
