Racing Club's Cornelio Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 8th minute of play. Cassius Byrne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Racing Club's Cornelio Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Cornelio Cordearo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Racing Club's Cornelio Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 15th minute of play. Lucas Eladio hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Cassius Byrne struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Cornelio Cordearo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USA. Cornelio Cordearo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 18th minute of the match. Cornelio Cordearo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Pirro in the 23rd minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luciano Pirro in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cornelio Cordearo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cassius Byrne in the 35th minute. The corner ended in Cassius Byrne almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Racing Club's Cornelio Cordearo did a great save. Cornelio Cordearo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 38 minutes Racing Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cassius Byrne who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Racing Club's goalie and right to Jacob May. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Racing Club's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Cornelio Cordearo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. USA were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Racing Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cassius Byrne took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Jacob May got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cornelio Cordearo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Monty Rogers came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the USA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Monty Rogers couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luciano Pirro was the one to do the kick off. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Cornelio Cordearo made a huge save. Cassius Byrne did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Cornelio Cordearo 59 minutes into the match. Racing Club's Samuel Nevada was substituted for Miroslaw Jajecznica. Racing Club's Homer Field was substituted for Efmamjjasond Bronco. 65 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goalkeeper Cornelio Cordearo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cassius Byrne. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 67th minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Cornelio Cordearo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Homer Field in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. Racing Club's Cornelio Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 71st minute of play. Cornelio Cordearo made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Monty Rogers sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute, Monty Rogers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cornelio Cordearo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. In the 87th minute, Homer Field got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam Campbell in the 95th minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Cornelio Cordearo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Txomin in the 97th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Racing Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. USA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
