In the 10th minute Miroslaw Penc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Miroslaw Penc kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. When liverpool team's Miroslaw Penc in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Miroslaw Penc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 34 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jânio Novaes who took care of the corner kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miroslaw Penc in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miroslaw Penc, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Miroslaw Penc kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 4-0 in the 41 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miroslaw Penc's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Venezuela:s Jonathan Ferrant showed great skill when he stopped Jânio Novaes:s penalty. 62 minutes into the match, Jânio Novaes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jânio Novaes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Miroslaw Penc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the game, liverpool team's Miroslaw Penc nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Kazimierz Damazki hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 75 minutes in the game Alex Chicote did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Patricio Costa. Jânio Novaes made in the 77th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which 俞彬耀 however managed to control. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miroslaw Penc in the 78th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Miroslaw Penc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. After 86 minutes of play, liverpool team's Miroslaw Penc made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miroslaw Penc's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. In the 92nd minute, Miroslaw Penc ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. There was no doubt that liverpool team were the better team. liverpool team's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
