Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Joshua Secada got a free kick in the 5th minute. Tomas Illescas took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven-Edvin Mårtensson. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Göran Unesson came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Team Rocco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Göran Unesson couldn't finish the play. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Team Rocco's goalkeeper Sven-Edvin Mårtensson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven-Edvin Mårtensson saved Team Rocco from getting behind. 17 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Edvin Mårtensson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 18th minute. The corner led Venezuela's Tomas Illescas to fire away a dangerous shot which Sven-Edvin Mårtensson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 27 played minutes Team Rocco got a freekick which was hit by Allan Malmström. Osvald Fredriksson hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Team Rocco's Sven-Edvin Mårtensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 35th minute of play. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Göran Unesson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincent Olofsson in the 42nd minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vincent Olofsson to make the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göran Unesson in the 53rd minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Nordlund in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Unesson came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Sven-Edvin Mårtensson in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Samuelsson in the 73rd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Team Rocco's Vincent Olofsson. But to his dismay, Vincent Olofsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Team Rocco's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Tomas Illescas 81 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Malmström, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Team Rocco were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ralf Vase took the corner. After taking down the ball on Team Rocco's corner Ralf Vase fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. In the 89th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the game, one of Venezuela:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Venezuela:s Jonathan Ferrant showed great skill when he stopped Göran Unesson:s penalty. When Göran Unesson came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Team Rocco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Göran Unesson couldn't finish the play.
