Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Abeijon having to interfere. Bernardo Abeijon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 9th minute of the match. Bernardo Abeijon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Montenegro went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Abeijon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Kain Havertz's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kain Havertz helped the player get up and apologised. Kain Havertz hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Bernardo Abeijon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Zack Alderson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. 32 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Zack Alderson came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Alvino Serre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvino Serre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Bernardo Abeijon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd match minute, Ampthill FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gez Little to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Ampthill FC's Aron Skoglund got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Bernardo Abeijon. Ampthill FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Ampthill FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gez Little didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute Gez Little shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Zack Alderson came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ampthill FC's Bernardo Abeijon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Ampthill FC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zack Alderson in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Ampthill FC's Bernardo Abeijon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 74th minute of play. In the 83rd minute Jack Potts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Abeijon having to interfere. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Felix Montenegro hit a great ball.
