Tomáš Houdek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 11th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Bernardo Novaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Novaes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Bernardo Novaes sent off a good shot on target. Axel Montenegro took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomáš Houdek. Tomáš Houdek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. A sloppy throw-in by Pascual Carballar in the 29th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Lex Academy's Miloslav Krupička. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paco Arzola, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 30 minutes, Radomir Wyrostek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lex Academy and the Colombia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Luis Cazalla. After a rather tough play, Lex Academy's Radomir Wyrostek got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 37th minute, Bernardo Novaes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lex Academy! Tomáš Houdek had in the 45thth minute some difficulties stopping Axel Montenegro's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Bernardo Novaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

51 minutes into the match, Lex Academy's goalkeeper Tomáš Houdek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. In the 52nd minute Bernardo Novaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomáš Houdek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Tomáš Houdek was a little too slow when Axel Montenegro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 2-2. In the 57th match minute, Lex Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michal Pikl to maneuver through the defense. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Tomáš Houdek made a huge save. Tomáš Houdek was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Santino Seco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Santino Seco really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. In the 72nd minute, Bernardo Novaes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lex Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lex Academy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roman Jursa in the 87th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Colombia's goalie and right to Bernardo Novaes. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Colombia's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Bernardo Novaes scored 7-3 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bernardo Novaes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Lex Academy players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
