Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gwidon Patora kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos-Armando Valderrama got free with Julio Vera in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwidon Patora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute, Gwidon Patora fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Julio Vera, passed just outside the right post. 10 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when He Lin Di came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos-Armando Valderrama's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Carlos-Armando Valderrama sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Marcos Lama tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After taking down the ball on Veth Crystals's corner Song Xing fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. In the 23rd minute Gwidon Patora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Song Xing was slow to take the kick. During this time Veth Crystals's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Veth Crystals was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos-Armando Valderrama didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Veth Crystals's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Marcos Lama reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Lama made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcos Lama quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Gwidon Patora's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Marcos Lama tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 68 minutes of play, Veth Crystals's He Lin Di made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos-Armando Valderrama went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Wierzchowski in the 80th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos-Armando Valderrama, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gwidon Patora struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Veth Crystals. When Veth Crystals's Gwidon Patora in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Veth Crystals had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
