The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sandu Cenușă in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Eric Vennerdal's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 36thth minute of the game Sandu Cenușă who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sandu Cenușă had several of the Venezuela's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 40 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Jonathan Ferrant as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 43rd minute, one of TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA -:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA -. Tomas Illescas walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandu Cenușă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eric Vennerdal, made in the 87th minute of the game. Sandu Cenușă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. TR - UYANIŞ KIZILELMA -'s Akif Eğriöz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 92nd minute of play. After 94 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. Fabiano Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Venezuela walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
