When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Vihar Glavinchev put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. 12 minutes into the match, Helvijs Kazene notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vihar Glavinchev struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CARCASS. After 34 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Douglas Furtado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. In the 37th minute CARCASS were awarded a corner. Vihar Glavinchev went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to CARCASS's Douglas Furtado getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When Sasho Ragin fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CARCASS's protests and gave Sasho Ragin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st match minute, CARCASS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sasho Ragin to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Vihar Glavinchev came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute, Helvijs Kazene made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 53rd minute of play forced CARCASS's goalkeeper Vitko Rangelov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vitko Rangelov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 56th minute of play. When CARCASS's Vihar Glavinchev in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vihar Glavinchev in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Vitko Rangelov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. The audience was convinced that Vihar Glavinchev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vitko Rangelov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vihar Glavinchev, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 80thth minute of the game Vihar Glavinchev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vihar Glavinchev in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vihar Glavinchev, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vitko Rangelov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 96thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CARCASS's Vitko Rangelov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helvijs Kazene in the 97th minute of play.
