A very good chance for a goal. 47 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Gong Qi Fan came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. In the 54th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience was convinced that Gong Qi Fan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Basilio Nafarroa hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Andersson having to interfere. Andreas Andersson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael Gallo's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. When the match was over Peru could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Börna Bulldogs throughout the match.
