The nice shot from Ganga Banga in the 3rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Julio Vera had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. 5 minutes into the match, SS SuperSonics's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Hugon Lenertej reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SS SuperSonics's Hugon Lenertej played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, SS SuperSonics's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Hugon Lenertej reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugon Lenertej showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of the match. Hugon Lenertej showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Ecuador's Diego Mancebo was substituted for Agustín Saelices. After a rather tough play, SS SuperSonics's Szczepan Opat got a free kick in the 31st minute. SS SuperSonics's Zdzislaw Dembowski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Primitivo Andino, made in the 34th minute of the game. Zachariasz Kaczucha kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Hugon Lenertej showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. SS SuperSonics's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. SS SuperSonics's Zachariasz Kaczucha quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Primitivo Andino, made in the 44th minute of the game. Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Szczepan Opat was shown his second yellow card after 50 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Ecuador's Luis Andino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugon Lenertej prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Ecuador booed when SS SuperSonics was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boguslaw Motowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugon Lenertej made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Ecuador booed when SS SuperSonics was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zachariasz Kaczucha didn't get a good kick on the ball.
