Marcelinho Motta kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Niclas Andersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 7th minute of play. After 7 minutes of play, Ecuador's Luis Andino made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niclas Andersson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Niclas Andersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 10th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Stoke FF's Niclas Andersson managed to reach the ball for a save. After some careless play in the Stoke FF defense, Felix Montes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niclas Andersson. The Stoke FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niclas Andersson should have stopped the shot. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelinho Motta in the 15th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niclas Andersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niclas Andersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 25th minute of the match. Stoke FF's Niclas Andersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelinho Motta came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustaf Mikaelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelinho Motta in the 43rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 played minutes Stoke FF got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Alberg. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcelinho Motta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gustaf Mikaelsson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 52 minutes had been played. Gustaf Mikaelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Stoke FF's Niclas Andersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 59th minute of play. With a little luck, Stoke FF's Niclas Andersson got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Niclas Andersson in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niclas Andersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niclas Andersson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 71st minute. A hard shot 78 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Niclas Andersson managed to make a qualified save. Stoke FF's players were relieved. Niclas Andersson made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelinho Motta in the 80th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Niclas Andersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niclas Andersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute.
