Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Granbergs Goa Grabbar's Ivan Hermansson got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 9 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Granbergs Goa Grabbar defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Max Lange. The Granbergs Goa Grabbar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Max Lange should have stopped the shot. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Max Lange didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Max Lange took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Max Lange tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Max Lange showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Hermansson in the 42nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Antonio Arias got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 47th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enzo Cesare to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Granbergs Goa Grabbar got a freekick which was hit by Alvin Göransson. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Max Lange tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Max Lange. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Lange having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Cristian Sancho could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Max Lange however easily saved by the left post. In the 77thth minute of the game Enzo Cesare who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Max Lange tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Granbergs Goa Grabbar's Max Lange got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Lööf, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
