Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mariano Lacasa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Guillermo Fontirroig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Isac Hojbota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isac Hojbota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Ernest Manea sped through Chile's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. 18 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Manea came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Politehnica Timisoara's Olimpiu Rizea. But to his dismay, Olimpiu Rizea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 25 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Manea came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Manea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isac Hojbota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 29th minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Isac Hojbota didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. FC Politehnica Timisoara's Isac Hojbota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 33rd minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Fan Wen Nan threw the ball into play from the sideline. Chile's Francisco Carballar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernest Manea made a kick off. Isac Hojbota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Manea came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 60 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Martin Crușeveanu who took care of the corner kick. The corner led FC Politehnica Timisoara's Martin Crușeveanu to fire away a dangerous shot which Thiago Pliego despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mariano Lacasa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Isac Hojbota skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 72nd minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. With his leg Isac Hojbota managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Chile's Mariano Lacasa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mariano Lacasa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Isac Hojbota skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 83rd minute of play forced FC Politehnica Timisoara's goalkeeper Isac Hojbota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 minutes, Francisco Carballar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chile and the FC Politehnica Timisoara players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Carballar to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th play minute Mariano Lacasa came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Isac Hojbota. 2-1. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Vali Maghiar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. Chile's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
