After the first half Paunero were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

52 minutes into the game, Rareș Finteșteanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Satyricon Black's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paunero the free kick. Marin Hârtopanu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Fabio Fagildo. Uriel Bingen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Mandoiu in the 66th minute of play. After some careless play in the Satyricon Black defense, Mauro Cordarrell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marin Hârtopanu. The Satyricon Black fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marin Hârtopanu should have stopped the shot. Marin Hârtopanu made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Mauro Cordarrell sent off a good shot on target.
