The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erik Väärtnõu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 26 minutes into the match, JK Shefid's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Prata came free, but Erik Väärtnõu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Roberto Prata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Väärtnõu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Väärtnõu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renan Sousa in the 40th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Gabriel Valladares kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Erik Väärtnõu. That made the score 0-3 in the 69 minute of play. In the 80th minute Gabriel Valladares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Väärtnõu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, JK Shefid's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Prata came free, but Erik Väärtnõu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mota 2017 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
