The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ezequiel Gines kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Paunero's Alfredo Cordeiro got a free kick in the 4th minute. Tequila Sunrise's Klement Watarz shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 5th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fabio Fagildo but with some difficulty. If Artur Siwek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute, German Nayely hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonas Sugoi scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tolek Gecionis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 29 minutes into the match, Alfredo Cordeiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tolek Gecionis. Tequila Sunrise's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredo Cordeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Fabio Fagildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Malewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Ezequiel Jaizki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tolek Gecionis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Tolek Gecionis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Jaizki in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aureliano Mano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Jonas Sugoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Sugoi in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tolek Gecionis saved Tequila Sunrise from getting behind. Tequila Sunrise's Tolek Gecionis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Mano in the 59th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tequila Sunrise's zone, Ezequiel Jaizki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tolek Gecionis came out of the goal and Ezequiel Jaizki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Jaizki in the 68th minute of play forced Tequila Sunrise's goalkeeper Tolek Gecionis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Tequila Sunrise getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Zdzislaw Banach hit a great ball. After 74 played minutes Paunero got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Bernaldo. After 75 played minutes Paunero got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Cordeiro. The supporters of Paunero booed when Tequila Sunrise was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marek Pieprz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tolek Gecionis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Sugoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ezequiel Jaizki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Tolek Gecionis made a huge save. Ezequiel Jaizki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Tolek Gecionis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Tequila Sunrise getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Zdzislaw Banach hit a great ball. Tolek Gecionis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Sugoi in the 91st minute of the match. After 91 played minutes Tequila Sunrise got a freekick which was hit by Zdzislaw Banach. Aureliano Mano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tolek Gecionis having to make a save. The Tequila Sunrise fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Paunero were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
