Szczakowianka were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after VN BAKITO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yan Chen Yan took the corner. After a defensive mix-up in VN BAKITO's zone, Luis Elequemedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruslan Rúklyov came out of the goal and Luis Elequemedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute, Yani Dandolov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Szczakowianka's Erdi Bender played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denimir Tzonkov in the 37th minute of play. After having played for 40 minutes, Radowit Ogrodowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Szczakowianka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radowit Ogrodowicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 42 minutes, Norbert Blicharz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Szczakowianka and the VN BAKITO players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 42 played minutes Szczakowianka got a freekick which was hit by Norbert Blicharz. Ruslan Rúklyov made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Yan Chen Yan sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denimir Tzonkov during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Benedykt Perkowski came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Szczakowianka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedykt Perkowski couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
