Thibaut Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belo Alvarez in the 5th minute of the match. Erlantz Bermejo took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thibaut Courtois. Thibaut Courtois dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Maurino Serena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Elequemedo in the 10th minute. Thibaut Courtois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belo Alvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Szczakowianka's Thibaut Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erlantz Bermejo in the 19th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luis Elequemedo. In the 24th minute of the match Szczakowianka got a corner. A.D. Alcorcón's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yan Chen Yan ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Xesc Jorquera fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.D. Alcorcón's protests and gave Xesc Jorquera a yellow card for diving instead. 26 minutes into the match, Donald Tusk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maurino Serena. A.D. Alcorcón's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Donald Tusk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 28th minute Erlantz Bermejo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thibaut Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Elequemedo got free with Maurino Serena in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner led Szczakowianka's Donald Tusk to fire away a dangerous shot which Maurino Serena despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Luis Elequemedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belo Alvarez in the 45th minute of play forced Szczakowianka's goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 46 minutes, Yan Chen Yan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Szczakowianka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yan Chen Yan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yan Chen Yan in the 52nd minute of play. A.D. Alcorcón's Laurin Mangas was substituted for Nereo Acosta. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by A.D. Alcorcón's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yan Chen Yan was slow to take the kick. During this time Szczakowianka's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Yan Chen Yan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena did a great save. 63 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Benedykt Perkowski came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurino Serena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedykt Perkowski in the 63rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Yan Chen Yan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Szczakowianka's supporters rose to their feet, but Yan Chen Yan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The audience was convinced that Benedykt Perkowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maurino Serena was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. 89 minutes into the match, Luis Elequemedo notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena. Maurino Serena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benedykt Perkowski struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Maurino Serena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Szczakowianka. A collision led to Szczakowianka getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Luis Elequemedo hit a great ball. Szczakowianka's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
