Marian Sobania showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 3-0 became the score in the 23rd minute when Gösta Söderberg elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Witalis Tomaszewski put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Christian Abbiati. In the 34th minute, Gösta Söderberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbyszek Ferfecki in the 38th minute of play forced Reklinek SSA's goalkeeper Mariusz Dankowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Waclaw Jucha made a kick off. If Waclaw Jucha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, Reklinek SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Sobania came free, but Mariusz Dankowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
