WKS INTRO BYDGOSZCZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Renatas Rusin in the 31st minute. WKS INTRO BYDGOSZCZ's Izydor Ochylski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mikolaj Jerzyk in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 32nd minute, Izydor Ochylski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mikolaj Jerzyk was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. WKS INTRO BYDGOSZCZ's Olaf Poremba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Erland in the 34th minute of play. Mikolaj Jerzyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roch Frankowski in the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Yao Yi Hui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olaf Poremba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pankracy Malicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Newcastle United's Thomas Vollmar got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Renatas Rusin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Mikolaj Jerzyk made a huge save. WKS INTRO BYDGOSZCZ were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Newcastle United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Renatas Rusin took the corner. The corner led WKS INTRO BYDGOSZCZ's Ksawery Gerlach to fire away a dangerous shot which Mikolaj Jerzyk despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Ksawery Gerlach put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mikolaj Jerzyk. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Izydor Ochylski to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Kajetan Kochniarczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olaf Poremba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olaf Poremba was a little too slow when Pankracy Malicki got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roch Frankowski in the 58th minute of play forced Newcastle United's goalkeeper Mikolaj Jerzyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute Adam Pacholewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olaf Poremba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Izydor Ochylski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mikolaj Jerzyk was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game.
