Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Paralia Athens's Iulian Doinaș started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristian Nicolescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 3rd minute of the match. Cristian Nicolescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Paralia Athens's Cristian Nicolescu. Cristian Nicolescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 13 played minutes Paralia Athens got a freekick which was hit by Iulian Doinaș. 14 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Paralia Athens's Cristian Nicolescu. Cristian Nicolescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cristian Nicolescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Nicolescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Paralia Athens's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Cristian Nicolescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Nicolescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. 69 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristian Nicolescu. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Cristian Nicolescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, Paralia Athens's Gelu Beșliu got a free kick in the 79th minute. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 81 minutes into the game, Manuel Marghescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paralia Athens's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Cristian Nicolescu made a huge save. Mircea Robu hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paralia Athens's goalkeeper Cristian Nicolescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Paralia Athens's Mircea Robu got a free kick in the 85th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Antonio Arias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paralia Athens the free kick. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ecuador! A collision led to Paralia Athens getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Ilie Tudoran hit a great ball. After 96 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
