Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gerardo Beard made the kick off which started today's match. After 2 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerardo Beard got free with Julio Vera in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 6 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Jospeh McNally reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 7 minutes Brooklyn SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Brooklyn SC's Jospeh McNally played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute of play. Jospeh McNally made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play forced Brooklyn SC's goalkeeper Jospeh McNally to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brooklyn SC's Jospeh McNally played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of play. When Brooklyn SC's Gerardo Beard in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. In the 25th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jospeh McNally saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dwight Schrute came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Brooklyn SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dwight Schrute couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Brooklyn SC's Jospeh McNally. Jospeh McNally was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jospeh McNally having to interfere. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dwight Schrute in the 51st minute of the match. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Jospeh McNally made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jospeh McNally. That made the score 1-2 after 53 minutes of play. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Jospeh McNally made a huge save. Trenton Long scored 2-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luis Andino was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. Ecuador's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trenton Long in the 64th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Brooklyn SC's Gerardo Beard to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 70th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Jospeh McNally in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dwight Schrute in the 74th minute of play. Jospeh McNally made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 89th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Primitivo Andino during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Primitivo Andino hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Cole in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
