Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Laurenciano in the 2nd minute of the match. Siluna Barra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. A nice corner shot did that Luca Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Siluna Barra quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Tenyo Rizov had several of the Mexico's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 14 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Dante Lacasa as he didn't even see the shot coming. 23 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcial Laurenciano. Siluna Barra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 25th minute of the match. Siluna Barra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Моряците's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Siluna Barra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcial Laurenciano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Joel Gaona hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Моряците's Siluna Barra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 54th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tenyo Rizov, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. With a little luck, Моряците's Siluna Barra got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Alberto Tafalla fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Siluna Barra quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Моряците's Konstantin Vanev got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 65th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siluna Barra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Siluna Barra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Siluna Barra threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 78th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siluna Barra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Siluna Barra. Siluna Barra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Joel Gaona scored 1-5 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Siluna Barra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Моряците fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
