In the 64th minute, one of ⚽Babaciunile ⚽:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ⚽Babaciunile ⚽. The goalkeeper, Gabriel Stoicănescu, was totally fooled by Honduras's Edmundo Espiga, who 65 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 69th minute Cristinel Urdea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Stoicănescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 70th minute. When Emilian Ignat fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ⚽Babaciunile ⚽'s protests and gave Emilian Ignat a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Honduras booed when ⚽Babaciunile ⚽ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilian Ignat didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Sebastian Villa took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Gabriel Stoicănescu to make any attempt to save it. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Stoicănescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honduras's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
