Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nikolajs Vorkals got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Markuss Reliņš. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Noboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miķelis Pavārs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Nikolajs Vorkals managed to get in a good position for a shot. SK Annenieki's supporters rose to their feet, but Nikolajs Vorkals was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 34th minute, Sarmis Rasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Markuss Reliņš hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute of the match Sarmis Rasa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikolajs Vorkals in the 45th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Zigmunds Lasmans tried to sneak it across the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. Miķelis Pavārs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After 71 minutes of play, SK Annenieki's Markuss Reliņš made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikolajs Vorkals in the 75th minute of play. Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got his second yellow card of the match in the 76th minute. The referee ordered Eliseo Noboa off the ground. In the 77th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Nikolajs Vorkals hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of SK Annenieki:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Costa Rica:s goal. Miķelis Pavārs went to the wrong direction when Axel Tasis was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 87 minutes into the game, Juan Rubio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SK Annenieki the free kick. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see SK Annenieki's Gatis Āboliņš in action when he in the 88th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikolajs Vorkals in the 92nd minute of play. SK Annenieki walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
