The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of CİCERO booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joshua Secada didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute, Mustafa Hamit Saye reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 1-0. Mustafa Hamit Saye struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CİCERO. 20 minutes into the match, CİCERO's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Ennio Orsini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ahmet Necdet Yunus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of CİCERO booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant stood somewhat misplaced when Ahmet Necdet Yunus came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 26 minute. The throw-in from Salvador Gisbert in the 30th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by CİCERO's Burç Taycan. After a rather tough play, CİCERO's Burç Taycan got a free kick in the 36th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mustafa Hamit Saye in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Necdet Yunus in the 44th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmet Necdet Yunus was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. Mustafa Hamit Saye's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. CİCERO were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Serter Haymanalı took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Mustafa Hamit Saye heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. CİCERO's Ennio Orsini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save CİCERO from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Ahmet Necdet Yunus managed to get in a good position for a shot. CİCERO's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Necdet Yunus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. CİCERO's Taner Tuğkan was substituted for Ahmet Necdet Yunus. CİCERO made a substitution. Tansel Cangun replaced Arcan Sargınal. In the 76th minute Mustafa Hamit Saye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game was made by Alex Chicote with Patricio Costa as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Taner Tuğkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taner Tuğkan in the 87th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Hamit Saye came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Venezuela's goalie and right to Mustafa Hamit Saye. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Venezuela's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 95th minute, Dedi Kodu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CİCERO fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
