Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) Mariano Lacasa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. Alan Tamayo made in the 17th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Orlando Casaus immediately put the ball in play. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Günther Doty stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Günther Doty tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A nice corner shot did that Luan Pombo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thiago Pliego quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thiago Pliego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Günther Doty went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 33 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luan Pombo who took care of the corner kick. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Günther Doty in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 42nd minute of play forced Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goalkeeper David Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Günther Doty to make the kick off. If Luan Pombo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Abad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 59th minute. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Günther Doty got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Günther Doty in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Günther Doty sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Chinese CJ Youth Academy booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Manzanedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Günther Doty, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. David Abad didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 87th minute, which inside left pole to 3-2. After a rather tough play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a free kick in the 94th minute. 95 minutes into the game, Gerardo Pozo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chile's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chinese CJ Youth Academy the free kick. Gerardo Pozo kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Chinese CJ Youth Academy could leave the field as winners, despite Chile having more of the ball for most of the match.
