Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) After having played for 3 minutes, Pavel Ghițescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Thierachern's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pavel Ghițescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Makaus in the 12th minute of the match. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Lorenzo Hagenbuch sent off a good shot on target. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Hagenbuch in the 16th minute of play. Hieronymus Gilardi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of FC Thierachern booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the game, FC Thierachern's Amado Makaus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 29th play minute Pavel Ghițescu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benito Sanz. 3-0. The referee gave FC Thierachern a penalty, 32 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lorenzo Hagenbuch, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. 4-0. FC Thierachern's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yannick Herzog in the 40th minute. The corner led to FC Thierachern's Lorenzo Hagenbuch getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Hagenbuch notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lorenzo Hagenbuch stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, FC Thierachern's Pavel Ghițescu made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lorenzo Hagenbuch blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. In the 59th minute, Lorenzo Hagenbuch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavel Ghițescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute Aziz Mrabet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Pavel Ghițescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A sloppy throw-in by Eliseo Noboa in the 72nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Thierachern's Pavel Ghițescu. In the 76th minute Lorenzo Hagenbuch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pavel Ghițescu struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Thierachern. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pavel Ghițescu in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. 83 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Hagenbuch notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lorenzo Hagenbuch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Hieronymus Gilardi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 88th minute of play. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Hagenbuch notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 95th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Alcocer to maneuver through the defense. FC Thierachern walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
