Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 5th minute of play forced Farafulla FC's goalkeeper Angelo Boni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Alfieri in the 9th minute of play. Angelo Boni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 12th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venezuela! When the match had been going on for 25 minutes, Farafulla FC's Andriy Shevchenko got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Andriy Shevchenko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andriy Shevchenko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Behçet Alp struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Farafulla FC. When Farafulla FC's Fabio Alfieri, in the 42nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Farafulla FC. In the 45th minute, Anıl Ege Karluk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andriy Shevchenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Andriy Shevchenko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Angelo Boni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Farafulla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anıl Ege Karluk didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute of the match Tomas Illescas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angelo Boni showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Ryan Portanares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ryan Portanares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Ryan Portanares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andriy Shevchenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute Andriy Shevchenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Farafulla FC's goalkeeper Angelo Boni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Farafulla FC had won after a very even match.
