In the 17th minute of the match, Luis Andino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aykan İsmet saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aykan İsmet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The wind increased when Vinny Tusk made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Agustín Saelices ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aykan İsmet was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Vinny Tusk got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aykan İsmet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ibrahim Hanif. Ecuador's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
