Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Isaias Eguerdi got the match started through his kick off. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Eguerdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Eguerdi came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lazaros Kotsiopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Lazaros Kotsiopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Worst Team Ever's Isaias Eguerdi. But to his dismay, Isaias Eguerdi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Lazaros Kotsiopoulos made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mito Chochkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Stor Klack stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Stor Klack tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Isaias Eguerdi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Isaias Eguerdi struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Worst Team Ever. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Worst Team Ever was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. József Murai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Lazaros Kotsiopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 51st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lazaros Kotsiopoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lazaros Kotsiopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Mito Chochkov was slow to take the kick. During this time Worst Team Ever's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Worst Team Ever's corner Mito Chochkov fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Worst Team Ever's Stor Klack fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Worst Team Ever's Necmi Öktemer got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lazaros Kotsiopoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 75 minutes into the match, Worst Team Ever's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Lazaros Kotsiopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lazaros Kotsiopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Worst Team Ever had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
