Fernandinho Mendes thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Ricardo Zamora, a very annoying self made goal in the 5th minute which led to 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Ricardo Zamora in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner led to YESHUA F.C's Cristos Contreras getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 19th minute, Cristos Contreras made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by YESHUA F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. When Ecuador's Felix Montenegro in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye YESHUA F.C's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to YESHUA F.C getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. John Coracera hit a great ball. Ricardo Zamora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Ricardo Zamora made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 46 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 67th minute, David Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardo Zamora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 71st minute of play. YESHUA F.C made a substitution. Vágner Severo replaced Vasily Mahnach. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after YESHUA F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. YESHUA F.C's Ricardo Zamora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 82nd minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when YESHUA F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Zamora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 92nd minute of the match. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Torres went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score.
