Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Curcio Alonso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 1-0. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Geeraerts in the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Paul Geeraerts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Generoso Beloki. Generoso Beloki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Generoso Beloki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. When Casado Castan came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Vodka Stars 1949 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casado Castan couldn't finish the play. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Generoso Beloki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Vodka Stars 1949's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Generoso Beloki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Vodka Stars 1949's Generoso Beloki. Generoso Beloki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Beloki having to interfere. After having played for 42 minutes, Curcio Alonso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vodka Stars 1949's supporters crossed their fingers, but Curcio Alonso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

In the 54th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. Curcio Alonso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vodka Stars 1949's Generoso Beloki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Vodka Stars 1949 from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Generoso Beloki to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 75 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Geeraerts came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Vodka Stars 1949's Curcio Alonso in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Generoso Beloki was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Cristian Sancho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Sancho really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Curcio Alonso's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. When Vodka Stars 1949's Curcio Alonso in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Generoso Beloki in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 90th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Vodka Stars 1949's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Curcio Alonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Curcio Alonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The Vodka Stars 1949 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
