Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucjan Kossakowski in the 17th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Edward Sitko in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edward Sitko having to make a save. Edward Sitko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 26th minute of the match. A collision led to IGloopoL getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Lu Xiang hit a great ball. After 29 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edward Sitko came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. IGloopoL's Edward Sitko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save IGloopoL from getting a goal against them. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Soszka, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Iwan Iwanowski kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Edward Sitko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 41st minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The supporters of IGloopoL booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Edward Sitko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hieronim Kaider recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Andino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edward Sitko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. After 72 played minutes IGloopoL got a freekick which was hit by Iwan Iwanowski. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucjan Kossakowski in the 82nd minute of play. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edward Sitko. Edward Sitko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Lucjan Kossakowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucjan Kossakowski in the 94th minute of play.
