Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ruben Montez could save by the left post. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute Claes Fender shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ruben Montez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agustín Saelices recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Hala Madrid Iraki FC's Claes Fender in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Ruben Montez in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claes Fender made a kick off. Claes Fender blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Hala Madrid Iraki FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Egaña didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claes Fender in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ruben Montez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Hala Madrid Iraki FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Ecuador's Felix Montenegro getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 62 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claes Fender in the 62nd minute of play. Hala Madrid Iraki FC's Johannes Sjögren was substituted for Claes Fender. Hala Madrid Iraki FC's Rabia Ünal was substituted for Yin Ling Jian. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Hala Madrid Iraki FC's Stefan Danielsson was substituted for Valentin Axelsson. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Sjögren in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Montez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Johannes Sjögren tried to sneak it across the goal line. A throw-in in the 79th minute of the game was made by Camilo Gisbert with Luis Andino as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90th play minutes Daniel Zorita shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Ruben Montez and just under the crossbar into goal. When the referee ended the match the Ecuador players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
