With a couple of smart ball manuevers John Skytt in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvano Casanova got free with Thiago Pliego in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 66 minutes into the game, John Skytt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 70th minute John Skytt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasa hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. NECKER49 made a substitution. Isidoro Fagondo replaced Silvano Casanova. In the 74th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Lacasa to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Lacasa in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximino Hitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 81 minutes into the match, John Skytt dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Thiago Pliego, 1-3. In the 85th minute, Björn-Torben Kappel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Lacasa in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximino Hitz saved NECKER49 from getting behind. The NECKER49 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing NECKER49 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
