Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FC Saxon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karol Gendolla didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roland Banaszak came free with the goalkeeper in the 7th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Vera could save by the left post. Gustaw Lech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaw Lech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustaw Lech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tadeusz Siekierka in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 34th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gustaw Lech was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 36th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. Gustaw Lech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of the match. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tadeusz Siekierka's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute FC Saxon were awarded a corner. Karol Gendolla went to the cornerflag to take it. Karol Gendolla made a great header on FC Saxon's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tadeusz Siekierka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoni Bubczyk in the 51st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karol Gendolla during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 59th minute, Karol Gendolla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Saxon's Szczepan Niemoj was substituted for Gilbert Dziuma. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sylwester Bejrut in the 90th minute of play. In the 94th minute, Kryspin Pierz made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2.
