Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ERGOTELIS were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Panagiotis Agapakis took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Aimilios Agapidis managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 11th minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stamatis Ifantis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Evelio Gregory fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when 任树振 came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute 任树振 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 任树振's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 任树振 in the 25th minute of play. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 1-1 when 任树振 sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Thodoris Kefaloukos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 35th minute Evelio Gregory shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when 任树振 sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 任树振 was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Gregory in the 53rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th match minute, ERGOTELIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thodoris Kefaloukos to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 57th minute. Patricio Costa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 60th minute. Venezuela's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With an all-out effort, Venezuela's Stamatis Ifantis threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Patricio Costa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. ERGOTELIS's Stamatis Ifantis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save ERGOTELIS from getting a goal against them. In the 64th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. The supporters of ERGOTELIS booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. ERGOTELIS's Babbis Kourentas was substituted for Evelio Gregory. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 74th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Babbis Kourentas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. A collision led to ERGOTELIS getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Nichifor Juravschi hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stamatis Ifantis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 90th minute of play. 任树振 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the ERGOTELIS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
