In the 8th minute William Westelinx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. William Westelinx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 12th minute of play forced FC Ouagadougou National's goalkeeper Rene Vereijt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rene Vereijt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 13th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nazmi Tanberk in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rene Vereijt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 19th minute of play forced FC Ouagadougou National's goalkeeper Rene Vereijt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Joaquin Prats hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sergen Şahbender. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Baba R. Hansen made a throw-in in the 25th minute of the game. Rene Vereijt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rene Vereijt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 36th minute of the match. William Westelinx hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Westelinx in the 43rd minute of the match. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Westelinx in the 44th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when William Westelinx came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Rene Vereijt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 54th minute of play. When Karim Sia fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Ouagadougou National's protests and gave Karim Sia a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 played minutes FC Ouagadougou National got a freekick which was hit by Karim Sia. The throw-in from Alonso Berganza in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Ouagadougou National's Andres Calamaro. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Westelinx in the 62nd minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Baba R. Hansen threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Alonso Berganza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. FC Ouagadougou National made a substitution. Dani Rojas replaced Jedrzej Kiszkiel. Peru's Alonso Berganza managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sean Westelinx in the 73 minute of the game. Rene Vereijt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luz Tejedor in the 78th minute. Rene Vereijt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute, Joaquin Prats hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Joaquin Prats hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dani Rojas in the 92nd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Ouagadougou National's Nazmi Tanberk managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eliseo Mina in the 95 minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdulla Baia in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. The FC Ouagadougou National fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peru were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
