Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hubert Fagrell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Hubert Fagrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseo Mina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute of the match, Per Tunström got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rolando Noboa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 18 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hubert Fagrell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 20th minute of play forced Rönnöfors FF's goalkeeper Hubert Fagrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hubert Fagrell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Tunström in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Per Tunström dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rolando Noboa, 1-0. In the 33rd minute Per Tunström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hubert Fagrell came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Luz Tejedor. But to his dismay, Luz Tejedor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Hubert Fagrell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luz Tejedor went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After the first half Peru were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. Hubert Fagrell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 51st minute of the match. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Per Stenberg went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 58 minutes into the game, one of Peru:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Rolando Noboa had in the 60thth minute some difficulties stopping Henry Fagerberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Henry Fagerberg notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Rönnöfors FF's Per Stenberg in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peru's goalie prevented a goal. In the 63rd minute Rönnöfors FF were awarded a corner. Peru's Eliseo Mina got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Rönnöfors FF's goalkeeper Hubert Fagrell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hubert Fagrell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 77th match minute, Rönnöfors FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Morgan Björkdahl to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Rönnöfors FF's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hubert Fagrell came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hubert Fagrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute, Eliseo Mina fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 81st minute of the match, Eliseo Mina tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hubert Fagrell saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 83 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Hubert Fagrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Stenberg in the 84th minute of play. In the 88th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonso Berganza to maneuver through the defense. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Torsten Åman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Morgan Björkdahl hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Hubert Fagrell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Gallo in the 97th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Peru players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rönnöfors FF.
