In the 6th match minute, IFK Ribba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rune Lind to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, John Hagström managed to get in a good position for a shot. IFK Ribba's supporters rose to their feet, but John Hagström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. John Hagström hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Covarrubias in the 18th minute of play forced IFK Ribba's goalkeeper Mustafa Barış Çile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th match minute, IFK Ribba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Olofsson to maneuver through the defense. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Alebom in the 26th minute of the match. Jaime Pardo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 30th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Michael Alebom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Hector Covarrubias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Covarrubias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mustafa Barış Çile breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th match minute, IFK Ribba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rune Lind to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when John Hagström made the kick off in the second half. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Alebom in the 65th minute of the match. John Hagström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. Filip Olofsson hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After 86 played minutes IFK Ribba got a freekick which was hit by Filip Olofsson. Jaime Pardo struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Mustafa Barış Çile didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. Michael Alebom made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano. Jaime Pardo struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Mustafa Barış Çile didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. When the referee blew the final whistle, IFK Ribba could leave the field as winners, despite Paraguay having more of the ball for most of the match.
