Avram Panaiteanu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Avram Panaiteanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Batalionul U23 Dorobanti defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Avram Panaiteanu. The Batalionul U23 Dorobanti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Avram Panaiteanu should have stopped the shot. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Lucian Baran was substituted for Narcis Cazacu. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Avram Panaiteanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. The corner led Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Boro Doro to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 36thth minute of the game Lucian Baran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sabin Panciu made a great header on Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience was convinced that Viorel Pârlog's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Avram Panaiteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Avram Panaiteanu. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Illescas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Avram Panaiteanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
