Józef Wandzik acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 3rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Joel Gaona. Macos Graciani made in the 5th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Joel Gaona immediately put the ball in play. 6 minutes into the match, Dark Drinkers Sanok's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Józef Wandzik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Dark Drinkers Sanok's goalkeeper Józef Wandzik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. 9 minutes into the match, Benet Amorebieta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benet Amorebieta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Józef Wandzik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. With a little luck, Dark Drinkers Sanok's Józef Wandzik got control of the ball when Facundo Cadaval tried to sneak it across the goal line. Facundo Cadaval made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 22ndth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Józef Wandzik would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 29th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Józef Wandzik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Benet Amorebieta made the kick off in the second half. Józef Wandzik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 51st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benet Amorebieta in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nando Campidelis struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dark Drinkers Sanok. After a rather tough play, Dark Drinkers Sanok's Jack Lund got a free kick in the 67th minute. Józef Wandzik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the match, Dark Drinkers Sanok's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Józef Wandzik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Dark Drinkers Sanok's Benet Amorebieta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Józef Wandzik came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dark Drinkers Sanok's Józef Wandzik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 85th minute of play. Józef Wandzik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Józef Wandzik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 95th minute of play. Mexico were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
