Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. In the 13th minute, Wu Ping Zhen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as ÓKINJÔ FC's Naim Ünal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dante Lacasa. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 20th minute of play forced ÓKINJÔ FC's goalkeeper Frits Sap to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frits Sap showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 23rd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Frits Sap was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 33 minutes of play, Mexico's Luca Zorita made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frits Sap was left in no man's land by his defense there! 42 minutes into the match, ÓKINJÔ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Frits Sap reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 43rd minute. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that ÓKINJÔ FC's Frits Sap managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 47th minute Dito Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Naim Ünal made the kick off in the second half. Lautaro Mancebos short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Frits Sap to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 55th minute, Alexandrino Sesimbra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ÓKINJÔ FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. A collision led to ÓKINJÔ FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Seyhun Demircan hit a great ball. Lautaro Mancebo might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frits Sap. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lautaro Mancebo ran back to his position shaking his head. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naim Ünal in the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Naim Ünal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frits Sap was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lautaro Mancebo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 88 minute of play. In the 94th minute, Qi Si hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mexico walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
