El Salvador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Takatsch the free kick. In the 76th minute Moises Fernandino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Milan Karatotev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mateo Leguizamo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Moises Fernandino made a great header on El Salvador's corner, it was just that FC Takatsch's Milan Karatotev managed to reach the ball for a save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Takatsch had won after a very even match.
