After 12 played minutes, Mexico's Joel Gaona shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper 于铮誉 came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mexico reached it. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when 彭霖峰 sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 17th minute of play forced TRAFFIC FC's goalkeeper 于铮誉 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. TRAFFIC FC:s 于铮誉 showed great skill when he stopped Joel Gaona:s penalty. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 30th minute of play forced TRAFFIC FC's goalkeeper 于铮誉 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerardo Claus received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dante Lacasa came out and tried to block the shot, but Gerardo Claus slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 33rd minute. 于铮誉 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 36th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Lautaro Mancebo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 于铮誉 was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gerardo Claus made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with 于铮誉 in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. TRAFFIC FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Luca Zorita scored to the left of an out of position 于铮誉, making the score, 2-1. TRAFFIC FC made a substitution. Borimir Vringov replaced Panagiotis Baltas. 于铮誉 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tzvetan Búnev fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TRAFFIC FC's protests and gave Tzvetan Búnev a yellow card for diving instead. Luca Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Oruña in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Ibrishimov in the 91st minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Many of Mexico's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Mexico may have spent more time on the ball, but TRAFFIC FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
