The audience was convinced that Koby Wright's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giacomo Casanova was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Carter George took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giacomo Casanova. Giacomo Casanova dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Giacomo Casanova made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koby Wright in the 9th minute of play. Montesacro FC's Giacomo Casanova played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carter George in the 11th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Montesacro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rohan Watson came free, but Giacomo Casanova reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Koby Wright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giacomo Casanova saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Canada booed when Montesacro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciccio Bussi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jax Williamson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paolo Rossi in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, Montesacro FC's Errikos Tsirigopoulos got a free kick in the 27th minute. Giacomo Casanova showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koby Wright, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Canada's Jax Williamson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Canada from getting a goal against them. Carter George sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute Koby Wright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giacomo Casanova saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Loco Palermo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koby Wright in the 53rd minute of play forced Montesacro FC's goalkeeper Giacomo Casanova to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 54 minutes, Koby Wright managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Koby Wright was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Montesacro FC's goalkeeper Giacomo Casanova had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rohan Watson. Canada made a substitution. Filip Edwards replaced Koby Wright. Canada's Jan Dixon was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Giacomo Casanova in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Giacomo Casanova was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carter George showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 62 minute of play. Canada's Theo Burton was substituted for Rohan Watson. Ciccio Bussi kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Canada made a substitution. Prince Anderson replaced Carter George. A collision led to Montesacro FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ciccio Bussi hit a great ball. If Prince Anderson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 played minutes Montesacro FC got a freekick which was hit by Juliusz Julien. Prince Anderson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giacomo Casanova having to interfere. Montesacro FC's Giacomo Casanova played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luka Harris in the 91st minute of play. Canada played a much better game than Montesacro FC and deserved their victory. The Montesacro FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
