In the 7th match minute, Guansa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Lobo to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guansa's attentive Victoriano Dalmu managed to snatch the ball when Salvador Gisbert made a throw-in in the 14th minute of the game. Esteban José Andrada came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Esteban José Andrada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 22nd minute of play. In the 27th minute of the match, Aaron Sandalio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Ferrant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Aaron Sandalio took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Leon Lobo hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Patricio Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esteban José Andrada narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Esteban José Andrada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Aznar in the 57th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute Aaron Sandalio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. With his leg Esteban José Andrada managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A sloppy throw-in by Victoriano Dalmu in the 70th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban José Andrada having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Patricio Costa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Esteban José Andrada, 2-2. Aaron Sandalio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Esteban José Andrada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Guansa getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Leon Lobo hit a great ball.
